Rosario Aninat & Simon Shim-Sutcliffe have developed a collaborative practice that builds upon their shared experience of how monumental infrastructure shapes our contemporary world. Material forms and an imploding infrastructural logic characterise their sculptural and site-specific installation work. The bodily landscape collides with natural and urban landscapes. They conceive of their installations as “immersive environments” in which viewers themselves become active participants.
