Bonny Poon / Conditions was founded in Paris in 2017 on the 26th floor of a brutalist residential tower in the 13e, and since 2023 has operated from Toronto’s Chinatown. The gallery highlights the conditions that make art possible—from production to circulation and sale—framing attitudes, positions, and networks alongside the art on display.

Both a gallery and an autofiction, we support transgressive and critical experimentation, often bridging contemporary art with nightlife, music, and cinema, while drawing attention to the backstage relations among artists, clients, critics, and dealers.
